Blueberry Cobbler

I had the exact amount of  blueberries in my freezer (from blueberry picking) needed  for this recipe. Looks and smells good. Hopefully it tastes good. We'll find out later... :)

Neo-neapolitan pizza

This is Todd's. Even though it was made on the fly, it tasted awesome! Next time, it will be EVEN better because I am going to make it the day ahead so the dough has a slow rise (which means for FLAVOR!)

My favorite salad in the entire world!

Casa Salad--Sorry, I was too lazy to edit out my phone ;)  This salad features a dressing of canola oil, red wine vinegar, anchovy paste, parmesan cheese, fresh garlic, salt, pepper , and oregano.  The salad has romaine, iceberg, sweet red peppers, green onions, mozzarella cheese, more parmesan cheese, a few bacon bits, and finally homemade croutons :) because it wasn't already enough work! Warning: THIS IS NOT AN IDEAL SALAD FOR THE HEALTH CONSCIOUS AMONG US!

Quiche!

Made with semi-homemade sausage, sauted green peppers and onions, half in half, cheddar-jack cheese and of course- EGGS!

It is sooo good, especially with cinnamon-raisin toast!

Buttermilk Cornmeal Pancakes aka Hoecakes

Another delicious recipe from "Back in the day Bakery" cookbook. I added a tablespoon too much butter and they still turned out great! They aren't overly sweet by themselves, so eating them with a little butter and maple syrup (like you would a pancake) makes they perfect. They kind of remind me of eating a freshly made corn tortilla. Yum!

Lemon Pie Bars



Today I have made Lemon Pie Bars from "Back in the day Bakery." The recipe contains a graham cracker crust and just a few simple ingredients for the lemon filling. Lightly sweetened whipped cream finishes this delicious, tart pie.
